Thanks for supporting Outdoors Without Limits

Dear editor,

The Ridgeland Chapter of Outdoors Without Limits hosted its annual Benefit Banquet Oct. 28 at the Farmers' Market in Ridgeland. With an outpouring of corporate and community support, OWL surpassed previous years in revenues raised for this special cause. OWL is a faith-based group dedicated to involving the disabled in outdoor activities, such as hunting and fishing.

Special thanks go out to this year's corporate sponsors, Ag South, Carolina Timber Inc., Timber Products Inc., South Carolina Bank and Trust and Martin Sauls. OWL is proud to have the support of these great groups.

OWL would like to thank the many businesses that donated to this year's banquet. Hilton Head and Sun City Food Lion grocery stores were a huge help providing most of this year's food. Items for silent and live auctions were donated by The Outpost, Nimmer Turf, The Fishing Coach, Mac Jarrell, Air Force One, Cristy's Hallmark, Hal Wall, Daufuskie Island Tours, Andeez Car Care, Palmetto Electric, Georgia Deloach, Gregorie Neck Plantation, Turkey Hill Plantation, Malphrus Oaks Plantation, Mike Peeples, Terry Peeples, Helen Pittman and Low Country Pawn.

The best chefs in the Lowcountry, The Bluffton Township Fire Department, led by Todd Harvey and Brian Cleland were on hand to serve up a perfect batch of traditional Lowcountry boil. OWL is proud of their continued support.

OWL has a dedicated staff of hard working individuals who really worked hard to make this year's banquet a success. Banquet committee members worked for weeks planning, selling tickets and obtaining auction items. Tough economic times just made everyone more determined to succeed. Jeff Richardson, Terry Peeples, Josh Ford, Nick, Roxanne and Daniel Adesso, Andrea Cabanilla, Kenny Tucker, Kevan , Conrad and Chip Knowles, Donnie Malphrus, Brian Cleland, Scooter Daley, Rose Williamson, Darrell and Zack Gaymon, Harold, Helen and Cery Pittman, Mike Davis, Andy Nimmer, Michael and Shawnna D'Amico.

OWL welcomed many new members to this year's event. We are a growing group and look forward to next year's events. OWL is a not-for-profit group. For more information, visit, on Facebook or call 683-0962.

Thanks to everyone who helped make our event a huge success.
